Library

The Whidbey Weavers Guild Library is housed in “The Roost”, the building behind the main meeting building at the Pacific Rim Institute, Parker Rd., Coupeville.
  • The library is open to members 30 minutes before the business meeting begins, at the lunch break, and 20-30 minutes after the meeting ends.
  • The library currently holds a wide range of books on weaving, spinning, needlecraft, basketry and other related fields as well as Audio Visual materials.
  • The WWG library holds current related magazines with a large, stored magazine collection (see Storage List for details).
  • Both swatch notebooks and copies of the six-volume “Bateman Sample” donated by the late member Virginia Harvey are available for check-out.
  • Materials are checked out from the library from meeting to meeting, or month to month. For longer circulation periods, talk to the Librarian, Cheryl Silverblatt.
The Library’s collections can be searched through the Author, Title and/or Subject catalogs listed below.  The catalogs do not allow for sorting or editing to be done, but if you find errors while searching, or have difficulty using any of the catalogs, please contact the Librarian, Cheryl Silverblatt.  The library is generously supported by the Guild so if you don’t find a book or magazine listed that you think should be included, please contact Cheryl Silverblatt, Librarian, silverweaver44@yahoo.com to request a purchase.
Hope to see you in the Library!
