BERIT BARDARSON

Berit Bardarson is a Pacific Northwest jewelry artist whose designs are inspired by the colors and organic shapes found in nature. She works with traditional materials such as sterling silver, gold, pearls and gemstones to create pieces with a unique and sophisticated aesthetic.

Berit has a BFA in graphic design from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. As a co-founder of Beta Press, a fine art print studio in Seattle, she worked with artists such as Fay Jones, Jacob Lawrence, Michael Gregory, Tom Lieberman and Gregory Grenon on their etching projects.

In addition to making jewelry Berit is currently experimenting with etching silver and incorporating etched surfaces into constructed forms.
