BONNEY NETZEL
I have worked in several media in my lifetime…pastel artist, textile artist, jewelry designer, photographer. I formerly was a member of Artworks Gallery and then Whidbey Art Gallery.
I have taught at colleges and universities in the Midwest, prior to moving to Whidbey.
You would find two broad themes in my work. I might strive to capture a solitary, lonely, reflective mood or figure, drawing on common human experiences. I also love to portray abstract compositions, details of form and color that I find in nature or in man-made but often ignored constructions.
