JANE FUNG
My hand-crafted ceramics are a snapshot of the peace and quiet found on Whidbey Island. Each piece captures natural forms and patterns, affording a moment to pick up tranquility and put down the stresses of modern life. For me, ceramics have become a way to get back in touch with a feeling of inner calm and natural order. I found my way to clay this year, falling in love with the material’s infinite recyclability and reusability. I hope my work imparts a feeling of awe and wonder onto you.
