REBECCA RICKABAUGH
The physicality of creating is what nudges me forward on a daily basis. I seek to embrace process and am thrilled when a vision or end goal is achieved and I have fully engaged my creative chaos, creating something where there was nothing before.
Making art has been a part of who I am since early childhood and in addition to drawing and painting, I have always had a strong pull toward craft as well. Part of that exploration has included paper cuts which I find satisfying as well as sometimes challenging while working out the negative/positive aspect of viewing a subject. It gives me great pleasure to create an image with just a mere indication of line or color or shape appropriately placed.
