What is Soroptimist?

Women at their best, working to help other women to be their best. 

Soroptimist International of South Whidbey Island is comprised of women of all ages, cultures and ethnic groups; we became a Chartered club of Soroptimist International in October of 1989. We are a service organization dedicated to the betterment of our community. Our mission is to work to enhance the quality of life for women and girls on South Whidbey Island and throughout the world. We fulfill the Soroptimist mission and achieve our goals by volunteering, mentoring, and fundraising; each activity seeking to support women and girls living both within the communities of South Whidbey Island and beyond.

Soroptimist Mission

Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization with approximately 1,300 clubs across North America, Latin America and the Pacific Rim. Soroptimist provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
